Jeremy Eng-Tuck CHEAH
Founder & President
Jeremy Cheah is an Associate Professor of Decentralised Finance at Nottingham Business School (NBS) and a Visiting Research Fellow at the Centre for Digital Finance at the University of Southampton. His work has been published in world-leading and internationally excellent journals such as the European Journal of Operational Research, Human Resource Management USA, British Journal of Management, Economics Letters, Cambridge Journal of Economics, Journal of Business Ethics, International Review of Financial Analysis, Annals of Operations Research, Studies in Higher Education and the European Journal of Finance amongst others.

Thong Dao
Vice President and Chief Executive Officer
Thong joined Nottingham Trent University in December 2018 as a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at Nottingham Business School. Thong’s PhD in Finance was funded by the University of Southampton, where he had previously obtained an MSc (Distinction) in International Financial Markets. Since his PhD, he has published regularly in high-quality academic journals such as Annals of Operations Research, Journal of Finance, Quantitative Finance and Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money and Journal of Multinational Financial Management.

Thao Nguyen
Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Thao’s research focuses on theoretical and empirical issues of bank/firm competition, efficiency, risk management, and climate change. Before joining academia, Thao had worked 4 years in the banking sector as the Head of International Settlement Department. He has published a book chapter with Springer and is the author of several publications in journal articles such as Studies in Higher Education, Applied Finance Letters, and Research in International Business and Finance.

Linzhi Tan
Chief Information, Compliance and Talent Officer
Linzhi is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at Nottingham Business School. Her background is in finance and she is a specialist in portfolio optimisation and risk management. She has published journal articles in leading journals including European Journal of Operational Research and International Journal of Finance and Economics.

Mehmet Sahiner
Chief Marketing, Publicity and Digital Media Officer
Mehmet Sahiner is a Lecturer in Financial Economics at the University of Dundee's School of Business. He holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Stirling, MSc in Finance from Queen Mary University of London, and a BSc in Economics from Ankara University. Prior to his current position, Mehmet was a Research Associate in FinTech at Nottingham Business School and a Visiting Lecturer at Stirling Management School. His work has been published in Computational Economics, Journal of Economics and Finance, SN Business and Economics and a book chapter in Metaverse: Technologies, Opportunities and Threats.
